OIS students were addressed by the Founding Chairperson and Director of Services for Mentaid, Mrs. Iona Kundu, who runs a school for the differently-abled. The students heard a first hand account of the challenges involved in starting an initiative of this kind. The visit was insightful for the entire Oaktree community and the School aims to plan future activities in collaboration with Mentaid.
The "Mary Cooper Home For The Elderly" welcomed a visit from our students and its residents were treated to an afternoon of music by the Oaktree Music Group. The visit was organised as a part of the ongoing CAS programme and the students returned looking forward to being a part of several such interactions in the near future.
Pre-IB and IB Diploma students had an interactive discussion with Ms. Austin and Mr. Lee, two independent consultants from the IB, on a variety of environmental and global issues and what the students can do to help mitigate these threats.
Oaktree International School recently welcomed Ms. Annette Bellwood from University of the Arts, London for an interactive session with the senior students. Read more about her visit in this section.
